Zala Park Tour is a wonderful tour which opens up to a small reserve located 5km from Jozani Park in Zanzibar.
You will see a variety of animals many of which are rescued and nursed back to health prior to release; you will be able to interact with these rare wildlife species within a safe and enclosed reserve.
Zala Park’s conservation initiatives have been instrumental in enabling the local community to learn critical preservation techniques and management of native endangered species. One of the park’s main attractions are its reptile inhabitants, which include chameleons, tortoises, geckos, and pythons.
You will also see various species of fruit-bearing trees such as orange, lime, grapefruit, nutmeg, banana, ginger, chillies, blackpeppers and cinnamon.
